At MagikCraft - Bull City Magic, we believe magic isn't just something you find—it's something you feel.Tucked just off Durham’s vibrant 9th Street, our metaphysical shop was founded as a spiritual sanctuary and soul-centered community hub. Since opening in 2016, we've offered more than just mystical tools—we provide a safe space for reflection, connection, and transformation.
The vision of Lynn “MagikCraft” Swain, a seventh-generation psychic and spiritual guide, the shop is now led by Lynn and her husband, Tom Swain, as a deeply collaborative partnership. While Lynn brings decades of intuitive insight and spiritual healing, Tom offers holistic knowledge and grounding energy that helps balance and support the space.
Together, they are creating a welcoming environment where all are invited to explore, heal, and grow.
With over 80% of our products sourced from more than 40 local artisans, we proudly stock hand-selected crystals, candles, tarot decks, herbs, books, and ritual tools requested by our community. Our events—from Full Moon Gatherings to spiritual workshops—invite deeper learning and connection in a space where all are welcome and judgment is left at the door. We don’t just sell mystical tools—we share knowledge, offer clarity, and help people realign with their truth. With sister store like Magic on 70 our mission continues to expand—but the heart of MagikCraft remains the same: community, healing, and a touch of the extraordinary.

Lynn Swain is a seventh-generation Tarot reader, psychic medium, visionary, healer, and transformational life and career coach. Known for her intuitive gifts and spiritual wisdom, Lynn draws from a deep ancestral lineage rooted in mysticism and esoteric traditions.
Born in South Jersey and raised in Leeds, England, Lynn brings a rich blend of cultural influences to her work. Now based in North Carolina, she offers powerful spiritual guidance to clients across the globe.
From a young age, Lynn recognized her ability to connect with the unseen. She began communicating with spirits and guiding others through psychic insight at just 13 years old. Over the years, her gifts have grown to include Tarot, remote viewing, energy healing, and intuitive life coaching.
